The Nikšić police arrested fellow citizens PK (45) and IB (20), who are suspected of multiple thefts, the Police Administration (UP) announced.
As stated in the announcement, PK was arrested on suspicion of stealing money in the amount of 200 euros, a certain amount of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as food products.
He was taken to the Administration for the Execution of Criminal Sanctions in Spuz.
IB is suspected of having stolen two cars in the area of Nikšić and Tivat, "VW Golf III" and "VW Caddy".
"Undertaking joint criminal measures and actions with the aim of elucidating all the circumstances of the events in question, the police officers of the Nikšić Security Department and the Tivat Security Department, after collecting information, came to know that person IB (20), from Nikšić, together with two other minors, had alienated mentioned vehicles, after which he transported the "VW Golf III" vehicle to Tivat, and the "VW Caddy" vehicle to Nikšić," the announcement states.
"The prosecutor on duty at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Nikšić was informed about the events in question, by whose order IB was deprived of his liberty and a criminal complaint was filed against him on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of aggravated theft. The mentioned vehicles were found and returned to their owners," it concludes.
