Minister of Justice Bojan Božović announced this evening that his security has been increased because the threat to him, that is, the danger due to the extradition of its citizen Binali Camgoz to Turkey, comes from inside, that is, from Montenegro.
He, as a guest on the show "Sunday in the Rearview Mirror" on Television Vijesti, said that, as he understood, these threats came from persons associated with Camgoza.
"As far as I understand, (the danger comes) from within. In the sense, within the state of Montenegro, by certain people who, according to the information of the competent institutions, are related to the extradited (Camgoz)," said Božović.
Božović has been under increased security measures since August 29, that is, since the evening when Camgoz was handed over to the authorities in Ankara, who are charging him with several serious crimes.
"Increased security measures have been in place since that night and are in direct correlation. Based on their assessment, the police said that it was necessary," said Božović.
He did not want to answer whether it is true that immediately after Camgoz was extradited to her, Turkey extradited a Montenegrin citizen to Montenegro who was detained in Turkey in February on the suspicion that, as part of his job, he allegedly helped with visas and papers for some people who are linked to terrorism in that country.
Božovic also announced that Camgoz's seven-month stay in Montenegro cost more than 300.000 euros.
