The Kotor police arrested two people suspected of attacking police officers and disturbing public order and peace.
As announced by the Police Administration, two persons with the same initials and the same age, P.Đ, were arrested. (24).
The police submitted a criminal complaint to the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Kotor against P.Đ. on the suspicion that on September 19, around 1.30:1,95 a.m., in the town of Škaljari, in a public place, under the influence of alcohol in the body of XNUMX g/kg, he committed the criminal offense of assaulting an official in the performance of his official duties to the detriment of two police officers.
"Namely, in the course of performing an official act, P.Đ. attacked a police officer in such a way that he hit him with his closed fists in the chest area, and then, offering active resistance during the deprivation of liberty, kicked another police officer in the knee area , who as a result suffered physical injuries in the form of a dislocation of the kneecap, as stated in the specialist doctor's report," the announcement states.
It is added that the police against P.Đ. filed a criminal complaint and that he was taken to the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Kotor for further jurisdiction by order of the prosecutor on duty.
"Also, the police officers of the Kotor Security Department deprived another person, P.Đ. (24), of his freedom, who, having previously participated in a physical and verbal confrontation with the above-mentioned P.Đ., violated public order and peace, after which he obstructed and belittled an official in the performance of his official duties, police officers filed a request to initiate misdemeanor proceedings against him to the Budva-Department of Kotor Misdemeanor Court due to offenses under the Law on Public Order and Peace," the statement concludes.
