The criminal police arrested the coordinator of the chief urban inspector for the Southern Region, Rado Dabetić (37) from Podgorica, on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of accepting bribes for an extended period of time.

Acting Assistant Director of the Police Administration Lazar Šćepanović said at today's media conference that 50.000 euros were found in his possession.

"We provided evidence that that person received money for not fulfilling his business obligations. In addition to this, we identified and arrested five more people, and the sixth was not arrested because he is not on the territory of Montenegro," pointed out Šćepanović.

Dabetić's name is on the 28th place on the board list "For the future of Podgorica - City of all of us" in the local elections in Podgorica.

Yesterday, in the same action, Živko Vukanić, head of the Beran Regional Unit of the Forestry Administration, was arrested.
