The arrests of sympathizers and members of various parties these days show that we are in a new, more just time, where there is a rule of law, Prime Minister Milojko Spajić said.
"Today, no one wants to protect corrupt people, no matter what position they hold or what party they come from. This is true patriotism and the new quality of European Montenegro," Spajić wrote on the X network.
The police arrested the coordinator of the chief urban inspector for the Southern Region, Rado Dabetić (37) from Podgorica, on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of accepting bribes for an extended period of time. Dabetić's name is on the 28th place on the board list "For the future of Podgorica - City of all of us" in the local elections in Podgorica.
A day earlier, the police also arrested Zoran Lakčević from Podgorica. As reported by the Police Administration, 23 identity cards, a passport, and a notebook with data were found in his possession.
