By searching the apartments and other premises of the two people from Nikšić, the police found and confiscated pistols, a rifle and more than 200 pieces of ammunition.
"In continuation of the activities of the officers of the Regional Security Center 'Zapad', which are related to taking measures and actions with the aim of finding weapons in illegal possession of citizens, and preventing the commission of criminal acts and misdemeanors, the police officers of the Nikšić Security Department, acting on operational knowledge, and based on orders issued by the judge for the investigation of the Basic Court in Nikšić and carried out searches at two locations in the territory of the municipality of Nikšić", the police statement states.
It is added that during the search of the apartment and other premises used by MS, the police found and confiscated a pistol, a rifle and 155 pieces of ammunition of different types and calibers.
"In addition, during the search of the apartment and other premises used by MK, a seized pistol and 104 pieces of ammunition were found.
Prosecutors at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Nikšić have been informed of the events, and after the necessary reports, the qualification of the crime will be carried out," the announcement concludes.
