Improving the state of human rights, especially of marginalized groups and building a system that promotes equality, justice and dignity for all, requires the engagement of all social factors, the cooperation of institutions and non-governmental organizations, which with their knowledge and expertise can contribute to the acceleration of the implementation of reforms.
This was announced by the Supreme State Prosecutor (VDT) Milorad Marković, during a meeting with representatives of non-governmental organizations that are focused in their work on the protection and improvement of the rights of victims and vulnerable groups.
The announcement states that the meeting, in the premises of the Prosecutor's Council, was organized in order to improve cooperation and define a strategic partnership with non-governmental organizations.
"On that occasion, VDT Marković presented the activities undertaken in the State Prosecutor's Office with the aim of standardizing the practice of action in all state prosecutor's offices. "Representatives of non-governmental organizations expressed their interest in providing support to the State Prosecutor's Organization through the implementation of concrete project activities," it was stated in yesterday's announcement.
The head of the Expert Service of the Supreme State Prosecutor's Office also attended the meeting with representatives of the civil sector, he writes Dijana Popović Gavranović, state prosecutor of the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica Ana Radovic i Snežana Sišević, state prosecutor of the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica Armin Selmanović, as well as the secretary of the Prosecutor's Council Secretariat Hermin Šabotić.
