An Azerbaijani citizen SA (22) was arrested on suspicion of falsely reporting an attack on him that allegedly took place in Bar.
The Police Administration said that on October 6, SA reported that the previous day in the evening hours he was physically attacked by two unknown persons in Petra Vojvodića Street in Bar, and that one of those two persons stole his wallet with money on that occasion. in the amount of 325 euros, as well as a mobile phone, after which these two persons, according to the applicant, drove away in an unknown direction.
"Police officers undertook activities within their jurisdiction with the aim of elucidating this event and establishing all the facts and circumstances, and came to suspect that the reported event did not take place. The SA was informed of this information, and additional information was collected from it, and everything was known prosecutor in the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Bar, on whose order the SA was deprived of liberty on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of false reporting," the police announced.
Bar police also arrested P.Š. (50) from that city who is suspected of the criminal offense of confiscation of a vehicle.
"He committed this act to the detriment of a foreign citizen whose vessel he entered, found the keys, put it into operation and headed in the direction of Budva, where he left the vessel near a beach bar. By order of the acting prosecutor, P.Š. was deprived freedom".
