The investigative team of the police in the city of Shkodër in Albania and the criminal police suspect that the perpetrators of the massacre in which three people were killed and one wounded, are hired killers from Montenegro, of a younger age.
This is reported by the Albanian media, stating that the victim's car also entered Albania from Montenegro in the last few days.
The vehicle also entered via the Hani and Hoti border crossings yesterday, and there is a possibility that someone warned the perpetrators.
During Wednesday, the car was seen passing several times through the Dobrač area on the Shkodra bypass. Investigators found more than 35 shell casings at the scene.
The burned car of the perpetrators has not provided useful information to the investigation team for now, as the chassis number was damaged in the fire, however, the vehicle has been sent for examination in the hope that more information will be revealed, writes Vox.
They added that investigators are focusing on surveillance cameras, but are running into difficulties.
"Namely, there are no cameras in certain areas, and where there are, they don't have servers to store the recordings. Some of the recordings are encoded and sent for examination in the laboratory".
Hamza Lici, Arlind Bushati and Flutura Baša were killed in Shkodër on the afternoon of October 30.
Flutura was a bystander and is not connected to the incident. Her husband, Baskim Baša, also unrelated to the event, was seriously injured.
Flutura and Baškim Baša were riding a motorcycle in that area when the Mercedes, driven by the victims who were the targets of the assassination, lost control and hit the motorcycle.
The attackers were traveling in a Range Rover car and it is suspected that there were three people: two attackers and the driver, while a fourth person is believed to have helped them after setting fire to the vehicle.
