Suspects in a double murder Alija Balijagić (65) broke into a house in the Bjelopolje settlement of Grančarevo and slept in it, an interlocutor from the Police Administration told "Vijesta" last night.
According to the same information, a DNA profile of the fugitive was found in that house, for whom the Montenegrin police have been searching for eight days.
Investigators are determining the time Balijagić stayed in that house.
A rapist and robber who spent almost four decades in prisons, on Friday, October 25, around 21.10:XNUMX p.m., in Sokolac, is suspected to have killed Jovana (60) and Milenka Madžgalj (69), and then ran away.

From Grančarev and the house where he is believed to have slept, it took Balijagić almost a day's walk to the vicinity of Prijepolje where he was seen yesterday, according to the official statement of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Serbian Government and the local Minister of Internal Affairs Ivice Dacic.
Dačić stated that Balijagić was located yesterday in the vicinity of Prijepolje, and was later seen in a village near the border with Montenegro.

The discovery of Balijagić's prints in a whitewashed house in Grančarevo is the first concrete clue during the eight-day search for the suspect from Bjelopolje.

They announced for the third time on the day when the murdered brother and sister Madžgalj were buried, and that was to deny the villagers in the Vraneška valley who claimed that days before the murder they had reported to them that an armed, at least a suspicious man was walking around the mountain villages. On that day, they announced that the locals only reported on the day of the crime that Balijagić was moving around that area armed.
However, neither on that day, nor to this day, did they explain how on the evening of October 25, despite the fact that there was only one report, they left the villagers in the Vraneška valley at the mercy of a bully, a rapist and a robber, who spent almost four decades in prisons.
The last time they made an announcement was on November 1, and in the statement they argued with the media again, stating that until the day before, they did not know that two mobile phones had been stolen from the house of Madžgalja, because it had not been reported to them.
In the same announcement, they also reacted to the text about the command in that search, claiming that after the double murder, on October 26, an operational command headquarters was formed with headquarters in the town of Tomaševo.
At the same time, they appealed to the media "to refrain from publishing information about specific localities that are at certain times the focus of police work to find the suspect AB, since that way of reporting does not contribute to and does not help the local population or the police in the search for the mentioned person".
