The Basic State Prosecutor's Office (ODT) in Podgorica ordered the detention of MV and BR for up to 72 hours on the basis of suspicion that they committed the criminal offense of inducing them to certify untrue content.
As reported by ODT Podgorica, they misled the traffic officer, causing him to draw up and certify the report on the investigation of the traffic accident near the Moračica bridge.
"And that by giving a statement on November 2 that MV was involved in a traffic accident that happened on the same day in the town of Moračica, in which NB suffered serious injuries, as a result of which he died the next day, and that MV was driving a truck , even though they knew that he did not take part in that accident, and on the basis of which the police officer made a report and filed a criminal complaint against MV", according to the announcement of ODT Podgorica.
