The Police Administration (UP) has officially announced that reports of bombs in schools in Montenegro were false.
"The majority of educational institutions in Montenegro received an email with threatening content today, stating that an explosive device will be activated in their premises. Police officers immediately went to the scene after receiving the reports, carried out inspections of the objects in question, where it was determined that the about false reports," the announcement states.
The UP said that the degree of real threat in this case is low, taking into account the fact that the disputed email was created from the same platform for all incoming reports.
"Also, in addition to the inspection of the mentioned institutions, the police officers conducted interviews with the persons in charge of maintaining the inventory and determined that the situation in the schools has not changed since the closing of the previous day, and it can be concluded that there are no obstacles to the continuation of classes," the statement reads. .
The Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation (MPNI) announced that e-mails with threatening content have been sent to the e-mail addresses of numerous primary and secondary schools and kindergartens this morning.
"Following the established rules, the administrations of the educational institutions informed the law enforcement authorities, the students and children were evacuated until the specialized police units could inspect the premises. The Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation notes that in such situations, support for all participants in the education system, that there is no room for panic, but one must act in accordance with the rules for such situations," the announcement states.
"We believe that the competent services and institutions will determine as soon as possible who are the culprits of these events and prosecute them, so that the teaching process in our educational institutions can proceed smoothly," said the MPNI.
As the paper was told, the Police Directorate was checking the buildings, and classes will resume when they determine that the buildings are safe.
The threats, it was explained to Vijesti, arrived on the e-mails of the institutions.
Reports of bombs, as Vijesti has learned, arrived at the email addresses of the Second Elementary School in Budva. The school administration called the police, and the children were returned home.
The threat was also sent to the email of the Secondary Mixed School "Danilo Kiš" in Budva.
None of the 21 kindergartens of the Public Educational Institution "Dragan Kovačević" in Nikšić will be open today, due to an urgent email that arrived at the institution's email address.
"Due to the threatening e-mail that arrived at our address today, the kindergarten will not be open today. We are waiting for members of the Police Administration to inspect the premises," informed the parents from the kindergarten administration.
More than 2.000 children attend kindergartens in Nikšić.
In the elementary and secondary schools of Pljevlja, classes are being held online this morning after reports of planted bombs were sent to the school's e-mail. The police are checking the facilities.
The bomb alert was also sent to the email of the Dušan Korać Elementary School in Bijelo Polje.
