The State Prosecutor in the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Nikšić suggested that custody be ordered for MB due to the suspicion that he called the police twice and announced that an explosive device had been placed in a discotheque in Nikšić.
The Basic State Prosecutor's Office (ODT) in Nikšić announced that, after the hearing, the state prosecutor issued a decision on the detention of MB due to the well-founded suspicion that he had committed the prolonged criminal offense of causing panic and disorder.
"The court imposed surveillance measures on MB, banning him from leaving his residence and mandatory periodic reporting to the Police Directorate. There is a well-founded suspicion that MB called the police three times on October 18 and 19, 2024, and announced that an explosive had been planted in a discotheque in Nikšić, which would to be activated at a certain time, which led police officers and other competent services into the delusion that an explosive device had been placed and thus caused panic and anxiety among citizens," reads the announcement of ODT Nikšić.
