Accused banker Duško Knežević spoke today in the Special State Prosecutor's Office about the alleged illegalities of the former Montenegrin President and Prime Minister Milo Đukanović.

One of his legal representatives, lawyer Zdravko Đukanović, announced this to "Vijesta", explaining that his client was talking about the custodial account, the first million and the so-called nobody's house.

"Today, at the invitation of the Special State Prosecutor's Office, Duško Knežević answered for almost three hours questions related to the cases handled by the SDT, which are related to the illegal activities of Milo Đukanović, the former president of Montenegro, and which concern the custody account case, the first million, nobody's house," Djukanovic said.

He said that Knežević presented precise information and circumstances that are important for the clarification of those cases:

"As well as the persons connected with the activities of Milo Đukanović with these cases".

The lawyer clarified that for two reasons he could not comment in more detail on what Knežević said today:

"The first is that the verification of the allegations that have been made is underway, which must be done in accordance with the law and in great detail, and the second reason is that there would be no possible removal of evidence and activities that would make the work and actions of the competent authority difficult prosecutor's office," said Đukanović.
