The capital city of Cetinje filed a lawsuit against Miroljub Petrović from Leskovac and the "Pleme Kuči" Association for violating the personality rights of a legal entity in the "Heart of Serbia" video.
The Capital City of Cetinje announced that the lawsuit was prepared by the legal team of the Capital City headed by lawyer Vid Đakonović.

"The video clip 'Heart of Serbia' was released on August 20, 2024, and was filmed in the most recognizable and attractive locations on the territory of the Capital of Cetinje," the announcement states.
The Capital City of Cetinje said that the lawsuit alleges that the defendants caused damage to the Capital City by openly challenging its identity, by illegally commercializing the Capital City's symbol, and by attributing its heritage and heritage to another state.
"The audio and visual content of the recorded material are in complete contradiction, and the mentioned segments were combined in an extremely malicious and perfidious way, with the obvious intention of trying to nullify the existence of the Capital, its specificity and identity determinants, as well as cultural-historical heritage and centuries-old tradition; heritage Prijestonice is attributed to another country, and the capital and localities on its territory are trying to be presented as an integral part of the Republic of Serbia. Namely, while the text of the song (as indicated by the very title - 'Srce Serbia') explicitly talks about another country - Serbia, the video content shows footage of the natural and cultural heritage of the Capital," the lawsuit states.
It is pointed out that the defendant has grossly misused the cultural assets by which the Capital is recognizable, and that, among other things, it did not provide the necessary consent of the Capital and the approval of the competent Administration for filming in the territory of Cetinje.
"It is evident that the defendant has undertaken a whole series of actions which: deny the identity of the Capital and its heritage, and its belonging to Montenegro in the territorial, national, historical and cultural sense; attribute the main cultural and historical features of the Capital to a foreign country; misuse the most characteristic and valuable symbols In order to promote its own nationalistic propaganda and incite tensions, it illegally and unauthorizedly commercializes the capital's heritage, insults the feelings of the citizens of Prijestonica and tells lies about the participation of the local administration in the illegal actions of the defendant.
The capital city of Cetinje announced that it demands the permanent removal of the video content and seeks compensation for the violation of the legal entity's right to reputation and identity.
