The High Court, on the proposal of the Special State Prosecutor's Office (SDT), legally confiscated the property of several accused members of organized criminal groups, including the escaped policeman Ljubo Milović and his former arrested colleague Mileta Ojdanić.
This was announced by the SDT, explaining that the Council of the High Court rejected the appeals of the defense attorneys of the defendants and persons associated with them as unfounded.
"The Council of the Higher Court in Podgorica rejected as unfounded the appeals of the defense attorneys of the defendants: MN, NB, IN, MB, Lj.M., VB, MO, BJ, MM, MP, GS, IS, IM, TA, DK and FZ, and attorneys of the owners: DM, SV, MO, EK and VK and confirmed the decision of the judge for the investigation of that court, by which, according to the proposal of the Special State Prosecutor's Office, in relation to the movable and immovable property of the defendants and owners, certain temporary security measures, because there is a well-founded suspicion that the property was acquired through criminal activity," the announcement reads.
Thus, the prohibition against disposing of the defendant MN's apartment in Tivat is legally binding, with the prohibition being recorded in the real estate cadastre.
"There is a legally binding order to the banks to withhold payment from the account, among others, and monetary amounts of: 245.047,76 euros, owned by the defendant BJ, 234.647,15 euros, owned by the defendant MO, 25.574,87 euros owned by the accused IS, 35.299,70 euros owned by of his wife and €12.167,00 of his own brother, 26.530,20 euros, the property of the defendant DK, 24.863,04 euros, the property of NJ, 24.516,92 euros, the property of the defendant GS, 13.571,82 euros the property of EK but also other defendants and owners, in amounts up to 10.000 euros," it is stated.
It was legally confiscated from the defendants and their owners and related persons - 31 passenger vehicles, seven trucks and motorcycles each, two snowmobiles and one four-wheeler and a speedboat, as well as a large amount of firearms - six pistols, 10 rifles and three optical sights , but also a large number of frames and other parts of weapons, as well as nine expensive wristwatches.
