The President of the Assembly Andrija Mandić condemned the attack on "Pobjeda" journalist Ana Raičković and called on the competent authorities to conduct a quick and efficient investigation and punish the perpetrators.
"This must be a warning to the state, but also a message to the bullies: you hit the foundation of democracy and you should be held accountable for it. This case must not remain just one in a series of unsolved cases. Therefore, the Assembly will do everything to protect the media and their freedom, and "year-old announcements that journalists will receive the status of official persons - now they must become a reality," he wrote on Iks.
