VL, a 17-year-old man from Novlja, hit and seriously injured DM on the highway in Bijela last night, and then ran away without offering him help, Vijesti from the Police Directorate learns.
One of the sources told Vijesti that the injured young man was left unconscious on the street.
According to the same information, the police found VL a little later and brought him to the official premises, where, on the order of the prosecutor, a statement was taken from him in the presence of his legal guardian.
"The prosecutor stated that criminal charges should be filed against him in the regular procedure," said the interlocutor of Vijesti.
According to Vijesti, the minor, who was driving the car without passing a driving test, is charged with the criminal offense of endangering public traffic.
