The family of the murdered Radovan Marković said that they are looking for the full truth about the murder of their family member.
They reacted to the claims made in the Podgorica High Court.
"Radovan Marković is our son and brother. Although he is no longer physically with us, we who are left behind have one goal, and that is to find out who took the life of a member of our family, why and for what. If this truth should cost the life of someone else from our family members and we are ready for that. We will use all means to protect the memory of our family member from slander, false intentions, and those who participated in the murder of our son, as well as those who are at large they try to hide the truth in such a way that he will sign a plea agreement and thus try to hide the truth, we publish this response.
"Until we found out that Radovan was killed, we found out from media reports, and after that from his friends and comrades. On 03.04/04.04.2024-30/XNUMX/XNUMX, a person called AM expressed his condolences and during the conversation gave us the information that he recognized DH from Sutomora by walking, running, wardrobe from the video published in the media that he was the one who set fire to the car, which he repeated several times so that he would personally report it, but he is not able, and three other members of my family heard it, because it was on speaker phone. would receive the information of our arrival, but he told us that someone would contact us in the following days. He did not take our names or contact numbers from the three of us present. As XNUMX days have passed since the murder of a family member, no one has informed us or called us asks from CB Bar about ours knowledge that the family has about the event, they have already ignored us in every way and avoided any contact. My family is convinced that the MUP is covering up a high-ranking member of theirs for the murder of our brother and son Radovan.
"On May 07.05.2024, 1, we wrote to the Minister of Internal Affairs Š. to give us answers to the knowledge my family has about DH, as well as to give us answers to ten questions, which we considered as the family of the murdered person to have the right : 2. Why were we not informed as a family that our brother and son had tragically died? 3. Why were none of the family members invited to identify his body? 4. Why did the authorities at the CB Bar not want to take information from of family members a few hours after the tragedy? 03.04.2024. Did the officer on duty make an official note on 04.04.2024. 5 with the intention of sharing the information with the police? of the head of the CB Bar? 6. If so, what was done by the competent services? to this day, the family has not received any invitation to give a statement about the information received, whether and who are being hidden by the competent police services or ANB, we are asking for an answer from you? 7. Why did the officer on duty, even though we introduced ourselves, and if there is a video recording of our arrival, not take the name or surname of any of the three of us, and why did he not make an official note? 8. We also request you to investigate this case, whether and if so, who from the top of the police or from your environment was involved in the murder of our brother and son?
"We never received an answer to the questions posed by the minister of police, but we received a call from his officers, the chief of the CB PG, the chief of the criminal police of the ZB and the chief of the GJ and a certain third officer whose name we did not remember, after which conversation our doubts only deepened. We approached On May 24.05.2024, 20, at their invitation to the CB PG, where, in addition to my family members, our attorney was also present for Haris Kočan saying that they did not have any information about him that he belongs or that he is in the criminal record, while for Vanja Burda he declares that he does not know why he was there and why he happened there, that Haris Kočan was arrested on the highway and that he had been brought by a taxi driver to train there.We as a family were most interested in what they did with the information given by Minister Š. that he was involved in our murder brother and son. We got the answer that the search was carried out by removing the folder from the table and telling us, I quote, 'there is no comma here, there is no point for you to ask for this anymore', which he repeated several times, which they could hear all those present listed. Telling the father that he has nothing more to ask for and to find out why his child was killed, you decide for yourself, words are superfluous. After these words, it was clear to the family that someone from the service was involved in my son's murder, and we understood the words addressed to us as threatening words. After that, the same person tells us the words, I quote, "if Haris Kocan speaks in this case, at least XNUMX people will be arrested", which was also heard by all those present mentioned above. And if I don't tell the truth today, I'm ready for any kind of punishment.
"We suspect that the head of the CB PG GJ and his assistant ZB have information about the planned murder of our brother and son to cover up someone in this case, which they themselves should be called by the competent services to testify about this murder.
"On April 03.04.2024, 4, after the murder of my son Radovan, after a few hours, the assistant director of the police administration, L.Š., gave media information that my son was the organizer of an organized criminal group, that after 5/01.04.2024 days he was in hiding in an abandoned building and a forest in the village that these allegations are not true can be confirmed by his brother M. and lawyer S.Lj, as well as the judge of the High Court in Podgorica IP, because On April 40, XNUMX, they had a hearing in which Radovan was also present states in his media appearance that Radovan was supposed to liquidate a person in opposition to a criminal group, that the vehicle that was set on fire is his property, that he acquired weapons for liquidation (guns, automatic weapons). All of the above is incorrect, so let him publicly answer where he got this information in advance, and if he knew all this as a high-ranking MUP official, why didn't he take measures and actions to prevent this tragic event, as well as an attempt to liquidate, as he claims, members of the opposing criminal group. Based on the above, the family believes that the above-mentioned officers of the MUP should have appeared as main witnesses in this proceeding and provided information on why they did not prevent the murder and the attempted murder if they knew it or, by not preventing it, they went hand in hand with one of their colleagues or superiors, not preventing events that they knew would or could happen. This official of the MUP stated in his media address that my son is part of the criminal group 'Skaljar clan', without stating when he has been involved in that criminal organization since BIL is a person, and the family is aware of the knowledge that Radovan is not even led in the security services as a person of security interest. What, who, why, to whom the statements of police officers should help or divert the investigation, the Radovan family will find out. Marković tried to humiliate an honest and honorable family with this media treatment, because like me, as an honorable and honest policeman, I retired after XNUMX years in the same service.
"Why did he try to slander my son in such an incorrect, unprofessional way, perhaps because he wanted to cover up and protect the individuals from the security service who were involved in the murder of my son. Our attorney S.Lj informed us that he requested the files for the injured family from the higher state prosecutor's office because he was told that the file was forwarded to the court for further decision to the court of our attorney, he informed us that we can get a copy of the file, as he did, only when the court confirms the indictment and when it is known who will be the judge in the case.
"From the part of the file without indictment that was submitted to us by the prosecutor's office through the attorney, we learned from the statements of the police that IM and VV were the first to approach them on the spot, that they filmed the person starting the car and running away across the highway, that they transferred the video to him via the Whatsapp application, that after that a person approached them towards the highway, he introduced himself as Haris Kočan, saying that one person was injured, that he was in the woods opposite the church, that he and his colleagues went to the injured person after that, and that the other colleagues went in search of an unknown person whom V. and M. told them had fled down the street next to the cemetery.
"Upon arriving at the injured, police officer M.Š. from OB CT stated that the person was aware and communicative, that he saw that he had injuries, that we should ignore all of that and exhausted the severely injured Radovan with questions instead of helping him and transporting him to the hospital as soon as possible If this had been done, my son would have been alive today. Also, the inspector from the OB CT stated that she did not approach the injured person, which was her duty to provide help to a seriously injured person, and she did not seem to understand the criminal responsibility. responsibility by not providing assistance to the seriously injured person. "On May 17.05.2024, 03.04.2024, I went to see the place where my child was killed, with my committee I went to the place of Meterizi, sat and talked with the owner of the tavern, who told me that on April 15, 00 at 18:10 p.m. closed his restaurant, which he does almost every day because he has no work, and he also has his family house nearby, so that day after XNUMX p.m. he noticed smoke and thought that someone had not set fire to his catering establishment and after seven to XNUMX minutes, when he approached the establishment, he noticed that a car was on fire in the immediate vicinity, and near the tavern he noticed a large number of police officers and inspectors in civilian clothes, he repeated to us several times in the conversation that his tavern was not open at that time, and that he had heard the story that police officers were present when the bullets were fired, which means that the statements of my son's killer that they asked for help in the bar and that it was not true open.
