Special Prosecutor Miloš Šoškić, in the indictment brought by the Special State Prosecutor's Office (SST) against the former Chief Special Prosecutor (GST) Milivoj Katnić and the former assistant director of the Police Administration (UP) Zoran Lazović, nowhere mentions the "Toyota" and the "alleged loan".
This is what Lazović's defense attorney Zoran Piperović told "Vijesta".
"It is simply shocking that the prosecutor spent half an hour informing the judge and everyone in the courtroom that Zoran Lazović allegedly gave an armored Toyota Land Cruiser to Radoj Zvicer. That claim is shocking for one reason only. Nowhere in the indictment, which has five indictments. , the prosecutor does not mention the Toyota or the gift, nor that it is armored," said Piperović to "Vijesta".
"If it was so worthy of his attention in presenting the evidence, why didn't he put it on Zoran Lazović in the statement. For the rest, there will be more details about this and about the alleged loan of 500.000 euros to Darko Sarić, which is also not mentioned anywhere in the indictment. After all, "We will see what kind of legal pearls there are in the indictment, which deals with the pure application of the law. This indictment will never be confirmed," said Piperović.
In a three-hour address to the court, Šoškić cited numerous Sky communications via encrypted phones, which Petar Lazović had with Switzerland. Also, as proof that Zoran Lazović is the head of a criminal organization, he stated that it was Lazović who gave Switzerland an armored Toyota Land Cruiser as a gift.
