The suspect who drunkenly beat his unmarried wife and two daughters was detained for up to 72 hours

The state prosecutor in the Basic State Prosecutor's Office (ODT) of Berane ordered the detention of DM Andrijevican for up to 72 hours on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of violence in the family or family community.

DM is suspected of beating his common-law wife and two daughters while intoxicated and threatening to kill them if they report him to the police.

It is stated that on November 20, around 18 pm, in his family home in a village in Andrijevica, in an intoxicated state, the suspect threatened his common-law wife and daughters.

"He injured his family members - his common-law wife and two daughters, by hitting his common-law wife in the head area with a large metal spoon and pushing her to the floor. Then he repeatedly kicked her in the body area, while the injured minor daughter, who ran to him to take the spoon from his hand, grabbed his hair with both hands, knocked him to the floor and then hit him several times with open fists and clenched fists fists in the area of ​​the head", it was announced from ODT Berane.

They add that when the other daughter ran to him from another room, begging him not to do that and grabbing him with both hands, he grabbed him by the hair, threw him on the floor and hit him several times in the body.

"On that occasion, he sent them serious threats the whole time, 'you **** your mother, you will pay me. I will kill you if you report me to the police and I will cut you all with a razor. If you are gone, I will serve three to six months , so when I get out of prison I will kill you all'", it was announced from ODT Berane.
