The management of Radio Television of Montenegro (RTCG) announced that the decision of the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica to file an indictment against the president and four members of the Council of Radio and Television of Montenegro, due to the illegal appointment of general director Boris Raonic, "is the result of pressure from various centers of power".
"We are deeply concerned about the multi-year campaign, on which we have been patiently silent until now. This will no longer be the case and in the coming period we will present a series of facts and evidence that confirm our allegations. We are convinced that the decision of the prosecution is a continuation of continuous pressure from various centers of power on RTCG ", it is stated in the statement of the management of RTCG, which was transmitted by their portal.
They add that they are "deeply concerned about the fact that these pressures also affected the prosecution".
"Which should not be an instrument in anyone's hands, including those who believe that they are the only ones who have a deed to the truth and who have lost positions of power. This is another proof that parts of the prosecution are still trapped and that they work according to the dictates of certain centers. We are convinced that the competent court will recognize the senselessness of the indictment and that it will not succumb to political and media pressure, both from the outside and from within," RTCG management announced.
