The defendant Milivoje Katnić, the former chief special prosecutor, today in the High Court in Podgorica at the hearing for the control of the indictment against him and Zoran Lazović, said that acting special prosecutor Miloš Šoškić violated the principle of truthfulness and the Code of Criminal Procedure and that he changed the Sky communication.
Katnić denied the indictment's allegations that he was a member of an organized criminal group formed by Zoran Lazović. He emphasized that Zoran Lazović never asked him to do anything illegal.
He especially pointed out that the special prosecutor changed, that is, deleted some messages, and left some, of the Sky communication allegedly led by Ljubo Milović, Petar Lazović and Radoje Zvicer.
He also denied the allegations in the indictment of the Special State Prosecutor's Office (SDT) that Lazović asked him not to prosecute Duško Roganović. He added that, contrary to that, Roganović was included in the indictment and on the warrant.
Katnić stated that the indictment against him does not contain a single piece of evidence.
Regarding the Sky message that SDT stated was sent by Petar Lazović to Radoj Zvicer, in which it is written that his father Zoran asked Katnić "not to touch" Roganović, Katnić said that there is no evidence to whom Petar Lazović allegedly sent the message.
He stated that this message could have been sent at the request of someone who wanted to show Roganović care for him.
Katnić pointed out that SDT's allegations that he should be detained because he will flee to Radoj Zvicer are absurd.
At the previous hearing, as well as today, he asked the extrajudicial panel to request the original evidence that he pointed out today, which the prosecutor is covering up.
