Herzegnov police arrested Đ.Ž. (29) and IP (41) from that city, on suspicion of drug dealing.
They are charged with criminal offenses - unauthorized production, possession and distribution of narcotic drugs.
"A search of the apartment and other premises used by the IP revealed a small amount of plant material similar to the narcotic drug marijuana, as well as mobile phones suspected of originating from a criminal offense, which will be the subject of further expert examinations," the Police Directorate announced.
Đ.Ž. and IP were brought to the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica along with criminal charges.
"Previously, during the activities carried out in the same case, about 1 kilogram of the narcotic drug marijuana, Mexican mushrooms that belong to the list of opiates, and the narcotic drug cocaine were found and confiscated, which resulted in the filing of two criminal charges against two persons," the statement reads.
