Branko Mišurović: It was not confiscated from my brother, but from me

"Unfortunately, one gets the impression that my brother Miloš is a cruel capitalist who owns tens of thousands of square meters of land in some kind of exclusive position. However, it is completely different because Miloš has no property of his own except for what we inherited together from our father, grandfather and great-grandfather," Branko said. Misurovic

Branko Mišurović, Miloš Mišurović's brother, reacted to the text "Seized property of Ojdanić, Božović and others" published yesterday on the Vijesti portal.

The text states, among other things, that the Council of the High Court in Podgorica, on the basis of the proposal of the Special State Prosecutor's Office, determined a temporary measure of "prohibition of disposal" in relation to the immovable property of 13 defendants, namely Mileta Ojdanić, Nebojša Bugarin, Božidar Jabučanin, Miloš Mišurović, Goran Stojanović, Aleksandar Keković, Vladimir Bajčeta, Filip Zindović, Dražen Milović, Ivan Nikolić, Dejan Knežević, Ivan Mijatović, Milo Božović, and persons connected with them.

Branko Mišurović's reaction is transmitted in its entirety:

"My brother Miloš's name is also on the list of persons whose property was confiscated. It is clear that the intention is to attribute wealth to him in one sentence and additionally confirm the suspicion that this is someone who acquired property illegally, so it is fair to be where it is, and it is under investigation. "58.009 square meters of land in Danilovgrad were confiscated from Mišurović," is the sentence that is used to treat my brother Miloš.

The truth, however, is quite different. It is true that this measure was imposed on Mišurović, but not on Miloš, but on me, his brother. The truth is that it is not about his but about my property, which I bought in a legal way, by selling part of my father's and grandfather's property, where there was a car service, which was run in my name, in Podgorica on Zabjelo and bought the mentioned land at Danilovgrad on the way to Zagarč, not in Danilovgrad as written.

Unfortunately, one gets the impression that my brother Miloš is a cruel capitalist who owns tens of thousands of square meters of land in some kind of exclusive position. However, it is completely different because Miloš has no property of his own except for what we inherited together from our father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

To make matters worse, the truth is that at the moment our uncles' property, the family houses that are fifty or one hundred years old, is under the 'prohibition of disposal', because we still haven't transferred the inherited and large properties in Dahna and Zabjelo that are owned by our families longer than a century, as any of our neighbors can confirm.

I hope you will understand my need to react because we are sick enough of what is written every day so that we don't have to put up with bare falsehoods. I repeat that what Miloš does not have and has never owned is attributed to him, in order to prejudge him and cause great damage to the family, and that to the wider family. For everything I wrote, I have legal and irrefutable evidence, a title deed and a sales contract.

Let the state do its job, but it is my duty to do mine and to deny the lie that is causing great unrest in our big family. Let the state authorities, the police and the Prosecutor's Office make an effort to find the facts, and not to invent them and not make it difficult for the families who certainly have too much trouble and suffering. I know and understand that it does not support the indictment that my brother, the accused retired policeman, has no estates, towers and cities, but that is the truth. The mentioned property of 58.009 square meters is my property, bought with honestly earned money and according to the legal regulations valid in Montenegro," said Branko Mišurović.
