The officers of the Anti-Crime Sector, in cooperation with the Podgorica police, submitted a criminal complaint against IJ (45) to the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Kotor, due to the suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of abuse of position in business operations for an extended period of time.
"It is suspected that IJ committed a criminal offense in the way that, as an employee of a company from Kotor, in the position of sales manager, continuously in the period from last year to April of this year, he unjustifiably approved the free delivery of goods to a number of companies, which in the bookkeeping registered companies as "promo goods" in amounts higher than the prescribed annual values of "promo goods", which are defined in annual business plans", according to the announcement of the Police Administration.
All this with the aim of obtaining illegal property benefits for himself and others, by which he caused material damage to the company where he was employed in the total amount of 165,58 thousand euros.
The officers of the Anti-Crime Sector are intensively continuing their activities to detect and prosecute civil servants and other persons who commit corrupt and other criminal acts, the execution of which causes direct damage to the budget of the state of Montenegro and its citizens.
