The Budva police arrested DV (27) after he failed to stop at the "Stop" sign and then hit a fence on Zavala.
As "Vijesti" was told by the Budva police, around 15:5 p.m. members of the intervention patrol tried to stop the car Golf XNUMX on the Adriatic road near the "Park" hotel, while the driver did not stop when the "Stop" sign was clearly displayed.
"After which, the vehicle continues to move in the direction of Bečići and causes a traffic accident at the Zavala intersection, hitting a protective barrier at the roundabout. Upon arriving at the scene, the police officers determined that the vehicle was driven by DV (27) from Budva. Further control established that the driver did not pass the 'B' category driving test, after which a breathalyzer test was carried out and the presence of alcohol in a concentration of 1,11 g/kg was determined, and the test determined that tested positive for narcotic drugs," the Budva police told "Vijesti".
They also said that the traffic patrol had carried out an investigation, and that the driver had been arrested and taken to the Court for Minor Offenses in Budva in abbreviated proceedings.
