At today's session, the government adopted the proposals of the Minister of Internal Affairs, Danilo Saranović, and passed resolutions on the termination of the mandate of as many as three directors of directorates within the system of that ministry.
The decision on the termination of the mandate was made for the director general of the Directorate for Financial, Material and Personnel Affairs of the MUP, Aleksandar Aleksić, and the explanation explained that the mandate ended due to the reorganization of the Ministry of Internal Affairs after the adoption of the new Rulebook on the internal organization and systematization of the MUP.
In his acting mandate, the government appointed economist Maja Liješević to his position, who, in accordance with the law, will be in that position for up to six months.
As expected, by the decision of the Government, the term of office of Radovan Popović, Director General of the Directorate for Administrative Affairs, Citizenship and Foreigners in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, has been terminated.
That decision was made at the proposal of Minister Saranović, who, on the basis of Article 35 of the Law on State Administration, and in connection with Article 60 paragraph 1 point 4 and Article 134 paragraph 1 of the Law on Civil Servants and Employees, requested that Popović's mandate be terminated also due to the reorganization of the Ministry. of internal affairs by adopting a new Rulebook on the internal organization and systematization of workplaces.
Dragan Dašić, a law graduate, has been appointed acting director general of the Directorate for Civil Status and Personal Documents in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, who will cover the position until the director general of this directorate is appointed in accordance with the law, and for a maximum of six months.
The proposal for the termination of the mandate was also confirmed for the director general of the Directorate for Normative Affairs and Police Development in the Ministry of the Interior, Iva Vukoslavčević, whose mandate also, as stated in the explanation, ended due to the reorganization of the Ministry of the Interior with the adoption of a new Rulebook on the internal organization and systematization of the Ministry. of internal affairs.
At the beginning of September, Vukoslavčević reported the state secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Petar Koprivica, for endangering security in his office in the MUP building, while he later filed a report against her for allegedly making a false report.
However, the Basic State Prosecutor's Office rejected both reports.
