Fifteen citizens of Albania and Kosovo physically attacked several workers of the Morski Dobr ferry line in Kamenari this morning around six o'clock.

According to the unofficial information of "Vijesti", they came to the ferry crossing from the direction of Herceg Novi with one Albanian car, one British car and two Italian cars, and tried to get on the ferry that was supposed to cross the already formed line of vehicles that were waiting to board to sail towards Lepetani.

The ferry crew and the stewards of Morski Dobr on the shore prevented them from doing so and kept them on the shore until all the vehicles that had arrived before them and were waiting in line to board had boarded the ship.

This enraged the Albanian and Kosovo citizens, so they suddenly all got out of the car and physically attacked the ferry line workers together.

One worker suffered serious physical injuries in that incident, for which he was detained in the hospital in Risno, in the neurosurgery department. Three workers have minor injuries, in the form of hematomas and minor cuts, and were discharged for home treatment.

The attackers pushed the worker, who was seriously injured, from the ferry ramp onto the coastal notch of the pier.

When the crew members of the other ferry that had docked in Kamenare in the meantime came to the aid of their colleagues, the attackers retreated, got into their cars and sped away from the pier, taking a detour around the bay, via Risno and Kotor.

The incident was reported to the police, who seized the footage from surveillance cameras at the pier.

Through the action of the police, a total of eight attackers against workers of the Morski Dobr ferry line were identified. They were arrested on the border between Montenegro and Albania and around 12 o'clock they were taken to the detention facilities of the Security Center in Herceg Novi.

Otherwise, the workers of the ferry line in Boka are often faced with rude or violent behavior by certain disgruntled or nervous drivers, or physical attacks, in which incidents are especially frequent by Kosovar and Albanian citizens - guest workers who travel here from and to Western Europe.

This summer in Lepetani, four Ukrainian citizens attacked and severely beat an elderly employee of the Maritime Dobr, causing him injuries that caused him to still not return to work.
