Member of Parliament Jelena Božović (New Serbian Democracy) reported today to Beran police that someone damaged her car, which was parked in front of her house.
This was answered by the Police Directorate to Vijesti, specifying that after the report, they noted minor damage to Božović's car, and that they are working to identify the perpetrator of the crime.
"Today, MP Jelena Božović reported damage to her passenger motor vehicle that was parked at the address of her residence to the Security Department of Berana. The police undertook activities within their jurisdiction and noted minor damage in the form of scratches, most likely caused by the use of a sharp tool. From notifications were collected for the record on the given circumstances, and the prosecutor in the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Berane was informed of the entire event, who declared that it was a criminal case the act of destruction and damage to someone else's property, which is being prosecuted according to a private lawsuit. The police undertakes activities in order to identify the perpetrator of the crime," the police administration wrote in the answers.
Today, Božović announced on Facebook that an unknown hooligan damaged her car:
"I doubt that it is a continuation of the organized chase that started at the session of the Constitutional Committee, when thugs from the Democratic Party of Socialists led by Nermin Abdić threw a smoke bomb and physically attacked me and my colleagues from the parliamentary majority," she wrote.
