Tuzani ID (27) and LJ (19) were arrested after the police found and confiscated about 300 kilograms of cut tobacco from them.
They were arrested in the Skadar lake area by officers of the Border Police Sector - Border Police Station I Podgorica.
"Last night around 19.00:27 p.m. in the area of the village of Podhum, border police officers stopped for control a tractor driven by ID (19) from Tuzi, with whom LJ (20) from Tuzi was a companion. found 300 large PVC packages of cut tobacco in the basket of the vehicle with a total weight of about XNUMX kilograms," said the Police Directorate.
It is suspected that the two arrested persons took the tobacco from a third, so far unidentified person at the pier of Lake Skadar, from where they planned to transport the goods and resell them on the gray market.
ID and LJ were arrested by order of the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica, on suspicion of having committed a criminal offense - illegal trade.
