The police in Nikšić and Savnik confiscated over 130 kilograms of cut tobacco, the Police Administration (UP) announced.
"Namely, officers of the Nikšić Security Department, on the basis of operational knowledge and acting according to the order issued by the Basic Court in Nikšić, searched the residential premises used by the person MK (57)," the announcement states.
The UP said that on that occasion, the police found and temporarily confiscated 101 kilograms of cut tobacco, as well as a smaller amount of pyrotechnic devices.
"In addition, the officers of the Šavnik Police Station checked the person of V.Č. and on that occasion found 66 packages of cut tobacco with a total weight of 33 kilograms. The competent prosecutors were informed of the events, who will subsequently declare the legal qualification of the event," it concludes. in the statement.
