Three Nikšić residents, Rajko Krivokapić, Marinko Jovanović and Dragutin Lalatović, who were arrested in Kosovo at the end of November, have been released from custody, Televizija Vijesti has learned.
Nikšić residents, two of whom are soldiers of the Army of Montenegro, were arrested at the Visoki Decani monastery for the inscription "Kosovo is Serbia" on the frame of their license plates.
As Vijesti Television has learned, they are on their way to Gračanica, where they are supposed to meet with their lawyer.
They were remanded in custody on November 26th last year for the criminal offense of inciting discord and intolerance, and their lawyers appealed the court's decision.
The Basic Court in Pristina extended their detention for another month on December 23. It is not yet known whether they have been acquitted of the charges.
Their lawyer Jovana Filipović confirmed to Vijesti television that the people from Nikšić had been released from custody.
The mayor of Nikšić, Marko Kovačević, announced on Facebook that Krivokapić, Jovanović and Lalatović had been released from custody.
