Don't fall for the city's rumors, he replied to police officers at the end of 2020 Mladen Lebo Bošković i Predrag Rakočević the then head of the Kolašin Security Department Milija Vukanić, after the two came to inform him that they or their property could be the target of an attack by the organization Milos Medenica.
In early January of the following year, Bošković's car was vandalized in the parking lot in front of the family home, and correspondence from the once-protected Sky app confirms that the attack was planned by the son of the former president of the Supreme Court. Vesne Medenica.
Bošković and Rakočević repeatedly informed Vukanić about the threats they were receiving, but the mayor "resolved" it in a conversation with the then Montenegrin judicial official, calming his colleagues...
During his hearing as a witness, Bošković said that his car was set on fire on January 5, 2021, that he reported to his colleagues who might be behind it, but that he thought it was with Kolašinac. Ivan Jeknić, called echo, whom he identified as the perpetrator, was only interviewed for information.
He also said that he had information that Miloš Medenica, Jeknić and their group were celebrating at the "Select" motel after his car was damaged, and then he referred to the conversation with the mayor after his vehicle was vandalized.
He then sent a message to Vukanić: "Boss, is this just a rumor?" and received a response: "Don't worry, we'll see about something through the union to help you."
He told prosecutors that he knew his fellow citizens Miloš and Milorad Medenica, and then described in detail the history of his relations with the two men from Kolašin, stating that he was the subject of a planned attack and that his car was demolished because he was lawfully performing his official duties:
"And he did not succumb to great pressure from the Medenica family, and when he says that, he means Vesna Medenica and her son."
He also explained to them how Miloš Medenica threatened him in August 2020, demanding that he and Rakočević change their statements in the proceedings against Jeknić.
After Medenica replied that he would not do it at any cost, the policeman claimed that the latter told him:
"That he and his colleague Rakočević should think carefully, that there is a life after uniform, that no one in the city likes them, especially him, and that they can expect someone to spit on them or attack them again, that Jeknić is not alone and that Jeknić has company, and that they should think carefully"...
Interpreting Bošković's statement, the prosecutors also state that he told them that he informed his colleague Rakočević about everything, and that they then went to see Vukanić together. He also explained that he did not go alone because he did not trust the mayor, fearing that he might fall under the influence of Vesna Medenica.
"Because he often sat with her and Miloš Medenica at the 'Sheraton' hotel. He further said that he appreciated that his colleague Milija Vukanić had never received any material benefit, but he was simply afraid, like all of them, because it was an open secret in Kolašin that Vesna Medenica had previously dismissed two mayors because they did not fit into her concept."
Vesna above the police
Bošković also said that all his problems began when he started entering official notes about Medenica into the police system, and that he conveyed the same to Darko Knežević during the conversation, specifying that he and Rakočević continuously came to know that Miloš Medenica, Jeknić, Milorad Medenica, certain Vujisic, Marko Vučinić - Wolf, Ugljesa Vukicevic, Ivan i Darko Pekovic, Igor Trifunovic, they behave arrogantly, they smoke illegal "scorpions", they consume large amounts of drugs, they commit traffic violations for which no one sanctions them.
He claims that Knežević told them: "Guys, I know everything, the situation is very difficult, that we are simply powerless in some situations, unfortunately for me and you, take care of yourselves, your families and your jobs," telling them that he was at their disposal, that he would not let anything happen to them, but would protect them.
"But he emphasized that Vesna Medenica was above him and told them that she had also moved him from Kolašin to Podgorica because of his legal work, as he suspected."
It follows from Bošković's testimony that the mayor, after he complained about Miloš Medenica's threats, told him: "And Miloš stormed out, I'll talk to him and call Vesna."

After the policeman asked - "Why Vesna, isn't he in kindergarten?", the chief fell silent and told them to be smart and lower the ball a little.
He explained that in mid-August 2020, Vukanić called him and Rakočević for an interview, informed them that he had spoken to Vesna Medenica, who told him that she knew that her son had called the police officer and told him:
"She said that he didn't mean it that way and that we should lower the tensions, we have more important things to do now, elections are coming up, and maybe Miloš will apologize at some point in the future."
Vukanić then conveyed to them Vesna Medenica's observation - that Bošković and Rakočević were a bit arrogant and that they were constantly detaining those very people of interest from a security perspective and were constantly using means of coercion.
"I don't know if Ms. Medenica is from Internal Control or maybe she works in the Disciplinary Commission," Bošković replied to the then-chief, telling him that it was a disaster and that everyone knew that Miloš Medenica was dealing drugs: "And that they would always find several grams of cocaine with him," the prosecution's files state.
Miloš Medenica was arrested on May 25, 2022 at Podgorica airport. He was arrested after arriving by plane from Belgrade. Previously, the police had already arrested his mother, Vesna Medenica. She was arrested on April 17 of that year, at around 22 p.m., when she was trying to board the last flight to Belgrade.
The Special State Prosecutor's Office accuses Miloš Medenica of forming a criminal organization whose members included his mother Vesna Medenica, her former bodyguard. Darko Lalović, a police officer Milorad Medenica, a judge Milica Vlahović Milosavljević, including Vasilije Petrović, Bojan i Marko Popovic, Marko Vučinić, Port of Bakoč, Petar Milutinovic, Customs Administration officer Ivana Kovačević, Radomir Raičević, Marjan Bevenja, Stevo Karanikic, Goran Jovanovic and “Kopad Company” from Nikšić.
A man from Podgorica was also arrested six months ago. Nikola Raičević, who is suspected of being part of that organized crime group.
He was handcuffed on July 24, 2024, and previously he was wanted for more than two years at the national and international level.
They are charged with criminal offenses - creation of a criminal organization, extended criminal offense of smuggling, extended criminal offense of giving bribes, receiving bribes, illegal influence and inducing illegal influence, abuse of official position, unauthorized production, possession and distribution of narcotic drugs, enabling the consumption of narcotic drugs drugs, illegal possession of weapons and explosive substances, grievous bodily harm and obstruction of evidence.
Come on, brothers, is 500 euros a little much?
"Is 500 euros a little much? If so, let them say how much and they'll get it right away," Medenica asks a few hours before Bošković's car was demolished, corresponding via the once-protected Sky app with an associate who used pinT0SEE3.
A little later, he asks his interlocutor to demolish another car parked in front of his building.
"They can cut it off in front of the building. They have cameras so they know, let them put on hoods and caps. I'm turning off my cameras now, they're not working. Lebo's car was broken into last night, I'll give 500 e for the car to be broken into for this guy... Stoplights and headlights, and whatever you want to attach. In the morning I'll give you 500 e for the jeep," he writes.
He also explains to his interlocutor where to enter, or escape: "Hit it, brothers. The big gate is open for you, it's always like that. Don't run out the small one, it's easier for you to go the big one. Leave a message a minute before, so I can watch," he says, and then warns his associate.

"Have you changed your clothes and shoes so they don't recognize your flashy sneakers on the cameras somewhere over there?"
After that car was also demolished, Medenica wrote to his associate that he was satisfied, calculating how much damage had been done.
"That's right, nephew. I only saw you. You were in the front. And I saw that you weren't giving up. Love to you, brother. That chauffeur and the side window will cost him a lot. Since the side window broke, it put everything on its feet, but that's extra," he concludes, adding that they caused 500 or 600 euros in damage.
He also comments that he saw them breaking:
"I saw all that, without the headlights, I don't think they were broken. But I saw that my brother couldn't do anything to them, he needed a sharp hammer, he couldn't do anything to them with that. If the headlights were broken, he would only have 700-800 euros, but that's great. There's so much nervousness around the building, it's worth a million," he writes...
After the person he's talking to explains what he's been doing wrong, he tells him it's great, and then adds: "There aren't any cars in front of my entrance now. The bums, they don't park here anymore. If I'd known I'd be breaking them like this, I wouldn't have bought a garage for 15 thousand"...
They took revenge because he was on their trail.
Police officer Bošković told prosecutors that he believes he is being targeted by the group around Miloš Medenica, because he identified his former colleague Milorad Medenica as one of the participants in the arson attack at the "Amanet" restaurant in 2016.
"Which was also claimed by my colleague Milovan Čepić, a criminal investigator, since they had information that the restaurant was set on fire, and that because the defendant Medenica Miloš had the intention to open that restaurant," the prosecutors interpret the statement of police officer Bošković.
He told them, they added, that all of this influenced Milorad Medenica to commit the crime of grievous bodily harm against him:
"And that it was a form of revenge against him, even though the defendant Medenica Miloš had a correct attitude towards him during direct meetings."
He also told them that he was doing his official job without any influence and did not keep his knowledge secret - "Thus he incurred the animosity of the entire group."
"He added that he has not given up on his aspirations to work legally, nor will he."
