Two people were arrested in Danilovgrad for illegal possession and carrying of weapons and explosives, and a pistol, rifle, ammunition and a small amount of marijuana were seized, the Police Directorate (UP) announced today.
The statement states that Danilovgrad police officers searched a car used by VB from Danilovgrad.
"On this occasion, a 'Zastava' pistol, 167 rounds of ammunition of various types and calibers, a grinder with remains of green plant matter resembling the narcotic drug marijuana, as well as an improvised hookah intended for consuming narcotic drugs, a package of 'rizli', hemp tea in factory packaging, as well as a glass package with remains of green plant matter resembling the narcotic drug marijuana were found," the statement said.

The UP added that police officers collected information from VB for the record and informed the prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica and the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica about the event.
"By order of the Basic State Prosecutor, VB was deprived of his liberty in relation to the pistol and ammunition on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of illegal possession and carrying of weapons, while the Senior State Prosecutor stated that the remaining cases should be referred for appropriate expert assessments, after which he will conduct a legal qualification of the event," the statement reads.
The UP also said that in addition, Danilovgrad police officers arrested VM, who was found to have a hunting rifle during the search.
"He is also suspected of the criminal offense of illegal possession of weapons and explosives, and will be brought to the acting prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica for further jurisdiction," the UP statement reads.
