The political group "Budva Our City - Nikola Jovanović" has asked the authorities to investigate the entire situation regarding the case disclosed by New Serbian Democracy MP Bojana Pićan.
"We are particularly concerned about the fact that an omission may have been made during the search of Mr. Vojo Pićan's house. It is unacceptable for the police not to carry out their work tasks in detail and precisely. For the safety of the Pićan family and all citizens of Budva, it is necessary to conduct a detailed analysis of today's report, as well as the one filed on January 19.01.2025, XNUMX, on which the Pićan household was searched. Until the case is resolved, we ask the media to inform the public only about information that has been exclusively approved by the competent authorities or the Ministry of Internal Affairs," the statement reads.
It is sad that the citizens of Montenegro, as it is emphasized, following today's events do not understand the seriousness of the moment.
"They are already comparing this situation to a staged 'coup d'état', wondering who is Paja and who is Sinđa, is it true that the substance used to kill fish 'gof' is more present in the Pićan house than flour, what happens when you throw explosives into a boiler? We hope that the comments that the entire action is a political stunt to alarm the public and prevent the Government from scheduling the constituent session of the Budva Assembly by midnight, which are spreading like those in 2016 regarding the coup d'état and the introduction of a state of emergency, are unfounded. Their questions, doubts about comparisons and assumptions in the form of comments are contrary to our goal, which is our obligation - a united people of Montenegro in all joyful and uncomfortable life circumstances. "We expect the competent institutions to conduct a thorough professional investigation and shed light on all aspects of the reported case, because the safety of every citizen of Budva and Montenegro comes first, and we also call on all parties to refrain from hasty and careless words," the statement concludes.
