IB is suspected of carrying ammunition used for semi-automatic short firearms in Golubovci on September 23, 2024, for which he did not possess a firearms license, the Basic State Prosecutor's Office (ODT) in Podgorica announced today.
The statement states that the prosecution filed an indictment with the Basic Court in Podgorica against IB.
"The Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica has filed an indictment with the Basic Court in Podgorica against the defendant IB, due to reasonable suspicion that on September 23, 2024, in Golubovci, Zeta Municipality, he was carrying ammunition for a firearm, which is used for semi-automatic short firearms, and for which ammunition he did not possess a weapons license issued by the competent state authority, thereby committing the criminal offense of illegal possession and carrying of weapons and explosive substances," the statement reads.
