Podgorica police found several weapons and ammunition during searches at four locations, and arrested two people for endangering security and illegally possessing and carrying weapons.
As announced by the Police Directorate, NR and MV were arrested.
"During a search of the premises of NR, who had previously sent threatening words to another person, the police found a rifle, a pistol frame and 14 rounds of ammunition. At the order of the acting prosecutor, a criminal complaint was filed against NR at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica on suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of endangering security in conjunction with the criminal offense of unauthorized possession and carrying of weapons and explosives, and he was deprived of his liberty," the police announced.
A search of the premises used by MV found 25 pieces of ammunition and, by order of the Basic State Prosecutor, he was arrested on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of illegal possession and carrying of weapons and explosives.
The police statement also states that an air rifle was found and seized during a search of the premises used by LV.
