In the continuation of the evidentiary proceedings against Dražen P. Vojvodić and Novica G. Đikanović, accused of the brutal murder of Vidak Vujović, telephone conversations conducted from April 10 to 15, 2023, were listened to yesterday at the Higher Court in Podgorica.
The president of the panel, Judge Veljko Radovanović, previously noted that he would listen to the secret surveillance measures, obtained by court order.
After the first telephone conversation with the number 068, the defendants confirmed that these were their voices.
On April 11, the defendant Đikanović spoke to his wife on the phone, who told him that her life was not worth a penny.
"Don't worry. Relax. You can sleep peacefully," Đikanović replied.
"I can kill myself, that's what I can do,"
"I feel sorry for him."
"Not me, if he's ready for it. Pi. Do you know what that means? Believe me, that's zero."
"He's my friend and that's it," Đikanović replied, and his wife ended the conversation: "Disaster."
Defendant Đikanović confirmed to the court that he spoke to his colleague KR on the phone on April 11th.
"My head hurts. I have a bad feeling."
"You have a good feeling," the accused now replies, adding: "I need some money to get out of Podgorica."
"What happened?" she asks him.
"Read 'Vijesti' and you'll understand," Đikanović replies.
Another conversation between this defendant and his wife was played in the courtroom.
"Hey Novice, did you know anything about this?"
"I have nothing to do with it. That's his problem, and he's my friend," Đikanović replied.
"All your comrades are killing and burning."
"Everything is according to merit". Nobody touches me...", concluded Đikanović.
The defense attorney for the accused Vojvodić, attorney Damir Lekić, proposed that the court orders for secret surveillance measures be reviewed...
The trial is scheduled to continue on February 17.
The indictment alleges that on March 31, 2023, the defendants killed Vujović in a treacherous and cruel manner - according to the indictment, Vojvodić first fired four projectiles at him, but the victim was still alive and begged him to stop, but he continued to shoot.
Then, together with Đikanović, he doused the body with gasoline and set it on fire.
