On the night between February 15 and 16, the Bijelo Polje police arrested AD (25), while they are searching for AS (30), on suspicion of setting fire to a vehicle, the Police Directorate (UP) announced today.
"Namely, upon receiving a notification from the Duty Service that a fire had been set on the vehicle of the injured person's house by several unknown persons, a police patrol was immediately dispatched to the scene and a blockade was established," the statement states.
The UP added that AD was arrested in the immediate vicinity of the crime scene, while AS, a person of operational interest, ran away from the scene in an unknown direction.
"AD was deprived of his liberty, and criminal charges were filed against him and AS by order of the prosecutor on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of causing general danger. Intensive measures and actions are underway to locate and deprive AS of his liberty," the statement reads.
The news reported this morning that a fire broke out in a vehicle owned by RK in the village of Džafića brdo near Bijelo Polje at midnight last night.

The Basic Prosecutor's Office in Bijelo Polje announced that a case has been opened regarding the incident on Džafića Brdo, after an Audi A4 vehicle, owned by RK, was set on fire last night around midnight.
"The procedure is in the investigation phase," the ODT announced.
