The Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica ordered the police to file criminal charges against the legal entity - the private health institution VatanMed and the executive director of that institution, Sabri Kaplanbegu.
The statement added that the criminal complaint was ordered due to suspicion that the criminal offense of unauthorized engagement in commercial, banking, stock exchange and insurance activities was committed.
"The Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica has ordered officers of the Podgorica Security Department - Criminal Police Station for Suppression of Economic Crime to file a criminal complaint against the legal entity - private health institution 'VM' and the responsible person in it, executive director SK, due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that the criminal offense of unauthorized engagement in economic, banking, stock exchange and insurance activities was committed. In this private health institution, hair transplantation services, as well as other aesthetic procedures, were performed without approval and registration by the competent authority," the Podgorica ODT statement reads.
