Vidak Vujović was shot twice in the back, out of a total of four bullets that hit him, said medical expert Nemanja Radojević today during the continuation of the evidentiary proceedings at the trial of defendants Dražen P. Vojvodić and Novica G. Đikanović, accused of the brutal murder of Vidak Vujović.
"As for the remaining two projectiles, it is possible that the injured party received one from back to front and the other from front to back. I am sure that he was hit twice from the back," said Radojević.
He added that the direction of the wounds Vujović suffered was difficult to determine, given that the body's skin was burned and the corpse was found in the decomposition stage.
Ballistics expert Milovan Mihailović said that the arrangement of shell casings found at the murder scene indicated that Vujović was shot from multiple positions.
"Two shell casings were found quite a distance from the body, while the remaining two shell casings and a bullet were found in the immediate vicinity of the victim's body. This means that the shot at Vujović was fired while he was in motion, meaning that the person who fired the first bullet changed position after firing the first bullet. After the first bullet, moving forward, he fired the next bullet at a shorter distance from the victim. The remaining two bullets were fired next to the victim's body," said the ballistics expert.
The indictment states that on March 31, 03, in the village of Šteke, in Podgorica, the defendants killed Vujović Vidak in a treacherous and cruel manner, by luring the injured party, according to a previous agreement, to an uninhabited part of the Šteke settlement, to an inaccessible place. By using their previous acquaintance, the defendant Vojvodić Dražen, driving him to the scene in a "VW Golf V" vehicle, and when the injured party got out of the vehicle, in his direction, fired at least four projectiles from a "CZ M2023" pistol, four of which hit him.
And this is because between the four projectiles fired, the injured party Vujović Vidak was alive and told the defendant "don't", during which time he suffered severe suffering and severe pain, which the defendant Vojvodić did not do, but continued to fire projectiles at the injured party. During that time, the defendant Đikanović Novica was on the scene and observed everything, after which the defendant Vojvodić fired a projectile that caused fatal injuries to the injured party, which resulted in his death. After that, together with the defendant Đikanović, he poured gasoline on and set fire to the lifeless body of the injured party Vujović Vidak, and then left the scene together. On April 12, 04, the defendant Đikanović Novica, in his family home, in the town of Farmaci, in Podgorica, kept seven pieces of pistol ammunition without the permission of the competent authority.
The defendant Vojvodić committed the criminal offense of aggravated murder under Article 144 paragraph 1 point I in connection with Article 23 paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code of Montenegro in conjunction with the criminal offense of illegal possession of weapons and explosive substances under Article 403 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of Montenegro, and the defendant Đikanović the crime of aggravated murder from Article 144 paragraph 1 point 1 in connection with Article 23 paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code of Montenegro and the criminal offense of illegal possession of weapons and explosive substances from Article 403 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of Montenegro.
