The Berane police found a gas pistol with 30 bullets and two knives on one minor, a metal bat on another minor, and a knife on VZ (21) from Rožaje, the Police Directorate (UP) announced today.
"Officers of the Berane Security Department - Police Intervention Unit, while undertaking planned activities to visit schools and schoolyards, found and confiscated a knife from VZ (21) from Rožaje on a street in the center of Berane, while they found a gas pistol with 30 rounds of ammunition and two knives from one minor, and a metal baton from another minor," the statement said.
The UP added that information was collected from these individuals at the police premises for the record.
"The state prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Berane was informed of all of the above, who stated that in relation to the found gas pistol and ammunition, this is a misdemeanor under the Weapons Act and that a misdemeanor charge should be filed against the minor," the UP statement reads.
