The National Parks announced that the Skadar Lake National Park Protection Service has prevented illegal activities in this protected area through intensive terrain control in the past few days.
Through joint activities of the Water Unit of the Police Directorate and the Skadar Lake NP Protection Service, the same person was processed for the second time in a month yesterday (24.2.2025) in the Milića Livada area. On that occasion, a metal boat with an outboard motor (Yamaha 15HP), oars, a battery, a lamp, a converter and a small amount of fish were temporarily seized, the NPCG announced.

They said that in the Vitoja area, Tuzi municipality, a vessel, outboard motor, propellers, battery, converter and lamp were temporarily seized, and a misdemeanor charge was filed against two people.
"Also, after a long operational monitoring of the vessel, two persons who were fishing with spears in the area of the Crnojević River were prosecuted. On that occasion, a tin vessel, outboard motor (Yamaha 90HP), lamp, spears, battery, converter were temporarily seized," the NPCG said.
The individuals were handed over to the competent authorities for further action.
"We appeal to all nature lovers and responsible citizens to report all illegal activities they notice in the park to the Monitoring Center of the National Park of Montenegro at 067000825," concluded the Skadar Lake NP.
