During a search of an apartment and other premises in the village of Resna used by KM (30), the Cetinje police found a hunting rifle of an unknown brand and 12 rounds of ammunition of an unknown caliber, the Police Directorate (UP) announced today.
"Taking preventive measures and actions aimed at locating wanted persons, detecting and preventing the commission of criminal acts and misdemeanors, preventing violence and seizing weapons in illegal possession of citizens, officers of the Cetinje Security Department, in cooperation with officers of the Crime Prevention Sector, conducted a search at one location and found weapons and ammunition. Acting on the order of the Basic Court in Cetinje, police officers conducted a search of the apartment and other premises used by the person KM(30), in the rural area of the Cetinje municipality, in the village of Resna, and on that occasion found a hunting rifle of an unknown brand and 12 rounds of ammunition of an unknown caliber," the UP statement said.
The security institution added that the state prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Cetinje has been informed of the incident, and will decide on the qualification of the crime after the expert examination is conducted.
