Police officers from the Regional Security Center "Centar" conducted raids last night in six catering establishments in Podgorica, Cetinje and Danilovgrad, arresting L. Đ. (22) and JK (23), and a misdemeanor warrant was issued against the catering establishment, while misdemeanor charges were filed against three people, the Police Directorate (PD) announced.
"Police officers of the Podgorica Security Department, in cooperation with officers of the Special Police Unit, carried out an operational-tactical measure and action 'Raid' and on that occasion controlled two catering facilities and searched 400 persons, of which 10 were operationally interesting persons. During the control, two persons, L. Đ. (22) and JK (23), were deprived of their liberty for committing violations under Article 11 of the Law on Public Order and Peace," the statement reads.
The Police Department said that last night, a planned operation "Mladost" was carried out in one of the catering facilities, during which minors were found consuming alcoholic beverages, for which the legal entity was issued a misdemeanor warrant.
"Police officers of the Cetinje Security Department, acting according to planned activities, carried out an operational-tactical measure and the action 'Raid' in two catering facilities in Cetinje, checked 150 persons, three of whom were operationally interesting, and on that occasion found a PVC package containing a white powdery substance resembling the narcotic drug cocaine on the person SI (42). A report was filed against SI for committing a violation under the Law on the Prevention of Drug Abuse," the statement said.
As announced, the Danilovgrad police inspected two catering facilities and 12 people in the Danilovgrad municipality, with no irregularities recorded.
"Officers of the Police Directorate will continue with continuous planned preventive and repressive activities aimed at detecting and suppressing all forms of crime, prosecuting perpetrators of criminal offenses and misdemeanors, as well as other measures and actions aimed at raising the overall level of security," the UP points out.
