Former Minister of Spatial Planning, Urbanism and State Property Janko Odović was questioned this morning at the headquarters of the Special Police Department, in his capacity as a citizen.
Inspectors questioned Odović for two hours, but the questioning was interrupted, so the former minister will have to appear again at the SPO on Monday.

Odović received a summons from the SPO from border police officers upon entering Montenegro yesterday, and if he had not come this morning, he would have been detained.
He was served with a summons in his capacity as a citizen, as part of an investigation conducted by the Special State Prosecutor's Office into the issuance of permits for capital projects on the coast.
The survey is being conducted regarding the construction of towers at the former Adriatic Fair in Budva, as well as skyscrapers in Bar.

SPO inspectors asked Odović for clarification regarding the permit for the construction of two towers by the company Mia Investments - whether it was issued in accordance with the law and legal procedures.
He gave a statement to SPO inspectors about the facility for two hours and praised the officers who, he said, were efficient and professional.
He explained that the construction permit for that building was issued on the last, or rather the penultimate day of my mandate, which he did not sign, nor was he authorized to sign, but someone else.

He says it is in the interest of all citizens to verify whether the legal procedure was followed.
He said he supports the work of the SPO and the Special State Prosecutor's Office to fully investigate all the facts and circumstances.
Odović will be back at the SPO on Monday, but to answer questions in his capacity as a citizen regarding the construction of skyscrapers in Bar.
