The Special State Prosecutor's Office has submitted an indictment to the Special Department of the High Court in Podgorica against: Radoje Zvicer, Nikola Vušović, known as Džoni, Mario Milošević, Radovan Mujović, Ivan Biletić, Aleksandar Ćetković, Davor Kordić, Damir Mandić and Branko Simić, for the criminal offense of creating a criminal organization.

The indictment was filed due to the existence of reasonable suspicion that Zvicer and Vušović, in mid-2020, in Montenegro and Serbia, organized a criminal organization whose members included the other defendants, as well as the accused: Strahinja Savić, Lazar Ilić, Grga Milićević, Miloš Klečko and Nikola Mileković.

The SDT has already filed an indictment against them on July 20, 2021 for the criminal offense of creating a criminal organization, and against Ilić for the criminal offenses of attempted murder and illegal possession of weapons and explosives, Savić for the criminal offense of attempted murder, and Mileković for the criminal offense of attempted murder by incitement, which entered into legal force, as it was confirmed by the Higher Court in Podgorica.

According to the indictments, the criminal organization aimed to commit the criminal offenses of murder and deprivation of life of Marko Kan Ljubiša from Budva, "as well as other persons close to him, using firearms," the SDT reminds in a statement.

The indictment proposes that Ćetković and Kordić's detention, in which they have been held since September 12 last year, be extended, and that Zvicer, Vušović and BS, for whom an arrest warrant has been issued because they are on the run or cannot be reached by state authorities, be tried in absentia, while the other defendants are already in prison, in detention or serving sentences for previous criminal proceedings.

"It has also been proposed that, after the indictment is confirmed, the criminal proceedings be merged with the criminal proceedings against the already indicted persons, which are in the main trial phase," the statement reads.
