Nikšić police have filed a criminal complaint against the former director of the Nikšić Hospital, Dušanka Milatović Perović, on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of abuse of official position.
She is suspected of having given parts of a boiler room to a person from Nikšić for use without a public procurement procedure, thereby allegedly obtaining a material benefit of 1.600 euros.
"Officers of the Regional Security Center 'West' - Security Department Nikšić, have filed a criminal complaint with the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Nikšić against the former director of the Nikšić General Hospital, DP (64), on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of abuse of office. She is suspected of committing the aforementioned criminal offense by exceeding the limits of her official authority in September 2024, without a previously conducted public procurement procedure, giving a person from Nikšić the use of parts of a boiler room - four burners with an estimated value of around 1.600 euros, thereby obtaining material gain in the aforementioned amount for this person," the Police Directorate announced today.
The statement added that Nikšić police officers, in coordination with the competent state prosecutor's office, are continuing to conduct investigative procedures in relation to other reports filed by this public institution.
On November 18th of last year, the Ministry of Health dismissed Milatović Perović from the position of director of the Nikšić Hospital and appointed acting urologist Zoran Mrkić in her place.
