German police arrested Montenegrin citizen LD (27), for whom Interpol has issued an international arrest warrant, yesterday in the town of Murnau, Bavaria.
"LD, for whom Montenegro issued an Interpol red notice, was sentenced to two years in prison by the verdict of the Higher Court in Podgorica for the criminal offense of unauthorized production, possession and distribution of narcotic drugs, and is being sought to serve the remaining part of the sentence of 1 year 11 months and 29 days. Further communication between the judicial authorities of Montenegro and Germany is ongoing with the aim of implementing extradition," the Police Directorate announced.
